Initial situation in the company
The VoiceXML standard has already gained a strong position in the market by 2006 and has grown ever since. BroadSoft felt the need to integrate these technologies into its telecommunications platform BroadWorks. However, BroadSoft did not want to develop the technology itself, but has decided to purchase a license for an existing and established third-party technology.
BroadSoft’s manager visited all potential contractors, whether in the USA, India, or anywhere else in the world. Among the places he visited was also Brno. At OptimSys, we are proud that we stood our ground in the worldwide competition and won this prestigious contract. We could not hope for a better proof of the quality of our technologies.
The course of cooperation
We have further expanded our technology in line with the development of VoiceXML and CCXML standards as well as BroadSoft requirements. We must admit with humility and delight that we have also learned a lot from the market leader. The collaboration has evolved successfully and BroadSoft has later also licensed from us other technologies revolving around the CCXML and MRCPv2 standards that came later.
OptimSys and BroadSoft are working together to this day. For more than 10 years, OptimSys has been providing BroadSoft with technology and related technical support and support for developers. OptimSys also implemented several custom software development projects for BroadSoft.
